Sustainable Procurement
At TDF, we are dedicated to responsible sourcing of materials and sustainable procurement. Whenever possible, we opt for recycled materials and collaborate with local companies to collect any recyclable production waste. In cases where virgin materials are required, we choose local suppliers and opt for trucks instead of airfreight to reduce our carbon footprint.
Beyond simply considering the environmental impact, we evaluate our material suppliers, looking for certifications or corporate social responsibility practices. We conduct site visits to ensure our procurement practices align with our commitment to sustainability. Looking to the future, our long-term target is to have 40% of our material suppliers sign the code of conduct by 2030, measured from a 2021 baseline. We aim to create a sustainable future and set an example of how sustainable procurement can be integral to sustainable visual merchandising.
